Here is a secret weapon for you when things get tough - thank Me! If you will begin to thank Me no matter what is happening to you, then you will soon be in a good mood. Thanking Me is not always as easy as it sounds, especially when things are difficult. But that is exactly when you need to thanks Me the most!
When things are tough - you get a bad grade, your friend hurts your feelings, your parents don't understand - thank Me for the chance to go to school, for your friends, and for your parents! Sit down and make a list of all the good things I've done for you. Start with your life itself. Every breath you take is a gift from Me. That youwere even born at all is a miracle. Then you can begin to thatnk Me for My world - the colours, animals, music, humor. Finally, think back on your life and thank Me for all the things I've done for you personally. Once you cound your blessings, it will put your current sistuation into perspective. Then hang in there. My mercies are new every morning.
