Exactly, the pope may have a good relationship with God, but he will never be perfect until he's in heaven. Even he makes mistakes! :) Who knows, the pope could be a hypocrite and not really believe - not likely, but no one knows.

of course I don't beleive them but, how does anyone know?

When it comes to Religion and faith, things are really vague, because there's really no right or wrong answer, you're allways going to have more than one oppinion and most of them are right. A lot of the questions we have, we have to rely on faith! Which is hard when we have really deep questions...

For example, my religion class, the first assignment we have to do is answer questions : What is Religion ( what does it mean to you). It really took me aback because i really don't know what it is to me! It's so much but it's hard to walk up to someone and say to them off the bat this is what it is as a definition ( well at least for me :P)

It's tuff. I hate when people ask you really hard questions or challange you, and if you dont know how to explain or how to answer, they think that you arn't that strong of a christian. *newsflash* christians dont have all the answers :)

Well number one. Look around you. the weather, the seasons, the people, the landscape. Do you think it was all an accident? I LOVE where I live and the more that i see of it, I realize it couldn't possibly have been a mistake. it couldn't possibly be an accident. Someone, someone with a lot of power must have made it. That's the only way.

Next, there is a lot of proof about things that some people may only call "stories" in the Bible. The flood, certain wars, temples, all that different stuff. People are discovering things right now.

I read this awesome book for school. it's called "The Evolution of a Creationist" I'll try to find the name of the writer, but it's an awesome book.

Religion is a hard thing. It isn't just a word. It's your lifestyle. It's your beliefs. It is what you assume and it is your world view. i just recently did a study of this. It was really hard, but it helped me to learn what religion really is.

sometimes its hard to stay commited to reading your bible and acually like trying your hardest to UNDERSTAND some of it.. Does anybody have any cool ideas to try and stay commited.. to start that little flame under the butt???

oo please! Its that "on fire" feeling you get after having an encounter with the Holy Spirit at church or convention or on you own,ect that dies away once you get back to reality.

If your own family aren't Christians, hang with strong Christian friends. You should listen to their advice, not advice from your non-christian friends. Who better to pick you up and get you motivated than a fellow sister/brother in Christ?

You have to remember that even when the feeling is gone, God is still there. he always is and you can talk to him, literally. Like sometimes i just sit alone in my room and have a conversation with God/Jesus. I don't even think of it like a prayer. i talk to him like I would to a best friend. It's good to have your own time with God, but things really start to happen when you have a devotional time/Bible study group with friends.

Also, go to church or a youth group. Seven days without God makes one weak. You need to fellowship with your God family to grow and encourage others.
